Jules is first and foremost, a wife and mother. I love my husband of 16 years Marty, we started out as naive 18 year olds and have grown up together. We are blessed to have two kids Conner and Elizabeth who bring us much joy and happiness. My blog started as a way to chronicle their lives as kids, now they are teenagers and I don't write about them as often.
I love Jesus with all of my heart, my faith is the center of my life. I have lived out my faith in a very real way. I was raised in church and have stayed there. God has shaped my life and I love to serve him. That theme is the golden thread of this blog.
When I started my blog in 2005, it morphed from a Mommy blog to a blog about the loss of my beloved grandparents who were the foundation in my life. I write about them and the family they built often. My family means everything to me and that is quite transparent.
In 2007, Marty my husband was diagnosed with end stage renal failure and this blog became the journal of our journey through dialysis, organ failure and eventually the miracle of transplant. I think those blogs are some of my proudest achievements shaping my writing and my life at the same time. Someday, I hope to turn that story into a book to help others.
Now I am finding my way in the blogging world. I write about my life in hopes to inspire others, encourage others and maybe show that we are all a little crazy..right? This is my autobiography being written out story by story. I also love to share about my friends and things going on in their lives as well. From time to time, I will feature guest bloggers to take the focus off Jules and shine it on others.
I am a simple, nutty, big hearted, sensitive gal who loves others more than I love myself. I picked up the addiction to cycling from my son Conner and that plays a huge role in my life. I love to swim, cycle, run and workout. I love my friends, family and living life out loud.
